Here you can go on an exciting safari to any of the tropical reserves, travel along the mountain slopes to any waterfall, of which there are simply an incredible number, laze on the beach surrounded by exotic plants, taste delicious Ceylon tea, or go explore the most ancient cultural monuments of the country.
All tourists who have visited Sri Lanka then remember for a long time and with great pleasure the incredible friendliness and responsiveness of the local residents. The people here are incredibly hospitable and are ready to invite anyone they meet into their home and welcome them as a dear guest. At first, all visitors are surprised by the fact that Sri Lankans constantly walk around with a smile on their faces, but then after leaving this wonderful country they remember this for a long time.
Sri Lanka has an incredible number of historical sites, and the world organization UNESCO has included many of them in its list of protected sites. Therefore, here you must definitely visit at least some part from this list - the Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla, the ancient capital of the island, the sacred city of Anuradhapura, the Lion Fortress on Mount Sigiriya, the last royal capital of the city of Kandy, the second ancient capital of the island, the city of Polonnaruwa, the ancient city of Galle with its beautiful fortress and, of course, the place where thousands of pilgrims of different religions gather from all over the world - Adam's Peak.
In addition to archaeological sites in Sri Lanka, there are also two natural reserves recognized as world heritage - the Sinharaja tropical rainforest with an incredible amount of diverse plants and rare animals (recognized as one of the 34 most unique places on our planet), as well as the “Highlands of Sri Lanka” with its stunningly beautiful the Knuckles Conservation Forest and the famous Horton Plains. 
All this virgin nature is comfortably located at an altitude of 2500 meters from sea level and amazes all travelers visiting it with its tropical forests, cold streams, misty meadows and silvery mountain peaks. Amazing animals and rare plants are also found in large numbers in this reserve.
In total, there are 52 nature reserves and 12 national parks in this country, and the country takes great care in protecting animals and rare plants. There are animal species here that are found nowhere else on the planet, such as mouse deer, sloth bears, barking deer, wild cats - civet cats and sambar deer. Yala National Park is home to the world's largest population of leopards, and Udawalawe Park is home to the largest population of elephants on the planet.
Near the coast of Mirissa, tourists can freely see sperm whales, dolphins and killer whales. And Sri Lanka can rightfully be proud of the fact that it is the main refuge for turtles and blue whales. You should also not forget about the opportunity to significantly improve your health while vacationing in Sri Lanka. Tourists here have numerous spa salons and Ayurvedic centers with entire comprehensive healing programs using ancient methods.
The question is quite controversial, since wherever you go, you will end up at an exotic resort and you need to be prepared for all the difficulties associated with this trip. Before making your choice, go to your pediatrician and consult him about the advisability of this trip. If you do decide to travel, then you need to consider several factors.
If we talk about the cost of vacation, then vacation in Sri Lanka is a little more expensive. Even though Goa is a tourist Indian state, the population there cannot boast of large incomes, which is why vacation prices are lower. In terms of nutrition, too, not everything is clear. Despite the beauty of the beaches of Sri Lanka, it is better to go to Goa with a child, since there are no such strong waves and currents as in Sri Lanka. But if you are not going to swim, then it is better to go to Sri Lanka. The reason is that on weekends, a huge number of local residents gather on the beaches of Goa, who come on vacation from different parts of the country.
The population of Sri Lanka is more friendly and less intrusive, there are much fewer beggars, and in terms of cleanliness, these two places are not even worth comparing.
