The following free baggage allowance rules have been established:
- when booking a tour from March 15, 2019 and later for departures from May 1, 2019:
Economic- 1 place up to 15 kg
Business- 1 place up to 30 kg - when booking a tour before March 15, 2019 and departing both before and after May 1, 2019:
Economic- 1 place up to 20 kg
Business- 1 place up to 30 kg
hand luggage
The following carry-on baggage standards have been established for domestic and international routes:
maximum dimensions based on the sum of three dimensions and each dimension in particular do not exceed 115 cm (55x40x20 cm).
On certain routes and for certain fares there may be exceptions to the standard conditions of free baggage allowance. The passenger will be notified of them when booking transportation.
Combining two pieces of luggage into one is possible with a total weight of up to 30 kg.
Free baggage and hand luggage allowances apply to adult passengers, children from 2 to 12 years old and children under 2 years old with a seat provided. For children under 2 years of age traveling without a separate seat, only a free baggage allowance is allowed, which is 1 piece weighing no more than 10 kg and the sum of three dimensions no more than 203 cm. Hand luggage is not provided.
A passenger's belongings, regardless of their name and purpose, weighing more than 30 kg per piece, but less than 50 kg, are considered heavy luggage.

Additional weighing of hand luggage - Cam Ranh (Vietnam)
Attention! Due to the ongoing problems with overweight hand luggage, additional weighing of hand luggage before boarding the plane was introduced, which is carried out on certified electronic scales. Children's flight
The passenger has the right to carry a child under 2 years of age without providing a seat.
The ticket must indicate the child's date of birth. A passenger accompanying a child is required to present to the Airline (or an authorized agent) a document confirming the age of the child when purchasing a ticket and upon check-in. The airline (or its authorized agent) has the right to verify the age of the child. The age of the child is determined separately for each transportation segment.

Passenger search
When checking in for a flight, you must indicate the passenger's last name and flight information, exactly as they are indicated in the itinerary - receipt of the electronic air ticket:
- Passenger's last name - indicate the passenger's last name as it is indicated on the ticket (first and middle names should not be entered).
- Ticket number - indicates the 13-digit ticket number of the registered passenger (for example: 4766110074598).
- Departure date - indicate the flight departure date in the format DD.MM.YYYY (for example, 12/12/2016) - use the “Calendar” element.
- Flight number - indicate the flight number in digital format (for example: 107).
After filling out the form, click on the button "Search for Passenger".
check-in
It is possible to check in for a flight provided that online check-in is available.
If several people are flying, add fellow travelers using the “Add Passenger” button. After filling in all the data, click "Proceed to online registration".
To view the selection of seats in the aircraft cabin, you must click on the button "Choosing a place" and in the block that appears, you should select a seat in the aircraft cabin.
Once a seat has been selected for all passengers, it is necessary to confirm that passengers have read the online check-in conditions and click on the button "Register".
Boarding pass
After successfully checking in for a flight, the passenger is taken to the “Boarding Pass” page. You can use your boarding pass:
- View and print - button "View boarding pass".
- Send by email – button “Send boarding passes by email”.
Changing the selected location after registration has been completed
It is not possible to select another seat in the aircraft cabin after successfully completed check-in.
Changing your seat is only possible at the departure airport.

General information
Online registration conditions
The carrier’s website contains a short list of conditions for checking in for a flight via the Internet: there are less than 24 hours and more than 1 hour left before departure, you are flying without animals or excess baggage, you do not need an escort at the airport (for example, for people with disabilities), there are no prohibited items in your luggage.
Free baggage allowance
When checking in online on the Nord Wind website, you will be asked to: choose a seat in the cabin (conditionally free), purchase an additional piece of luggage and select a dish from the presented menu for the duration of the flight. The standard weight of luggage, which is included in the air ticket price, is 20+5 (20 - main luggage, one piece; 5 - hand luggage).
Paid luggage
Excess baggage is baggage whose dimensions and weight do not meet the carrier’s requirements (see link below).
When you check in online on the Nord Winda website, you will be offered an additional service to purchase/pay for one more piece of luggage (1+). It costs from 1,450 rubles to 3,500 rubles, which depends on the departure airport and flight route. We recommend using this service, as baggage handling fees at the airport can be significantly higher, and it can take up to half an hour.
Animals in the salon
It is assumed that animals can be carried on Nord Wind airline flights. However, you must obtain prior permission to do this before opening online (web) registration. To do this, write a letter to the agent company where you purchased your air tickets or travel package. The collection and legitimacy of the collected documents for veterinary control remains with you.
Electronic boarding pass
After checking in online, print the boarding pass that you will receive from the airline. It is not the document you need to fly, but it will help you quickly find your flight at the airport. Use it as a cheat sheet. You will receive a valid boarding pass at the airport at the Nord Wind check-in counter.

Conditions for online registration
- You are traveling on Nordwind Airlines' own flights (N4)
- No more than 24 hours and no less than 1 * hour before flight departure. * For flights departing from foreign airports in the Russian Federation - 4 hours (except for Antalya, Yerevan, Cam Ranh, Cancun)
- You are flying without animals, weapons or luggage in the passenger seat
- You don't need special services. For example: accompanying people with disabilities, accompanying a child without parents, and others
- There are no prohibited items or substances in your checked or carry-on luggage
How to register online?

Search for passengers
In the form, please indicate the passenger's last name and ticket number. After that, click on the “Search” button. If several people are flying, add fellow travelers using the “Add Passenger” button. After filling in all the data, click “Proceed to online registration”.
- Step 2
check-in
At the check-in stage, you can choose a seat in the aircraft cabin and order additional services. After selecting the required services, click on the “Register” button.
- Step 3
Payment for additional services
Pay for additional services selected at the previous stage. When paying, please provide a current phone number and email address. This is necessary to send you a payment receipt.
- Step 4
Receiving your boarding pass
Receive and print your boarding pass. You will need it to go through security and when boarding the plane. If it is not possible to print your boarding pass, do so at the airport check-in counter.
Transfer passengers
When traveling on transfer flights, you must remember that check-in for a flight for each individual section opens 24 hours in advance and ends 1 hour before the departure of the flight in this direction.
If, when completing online check-in, there are more than 24 hours left before the departure time of the second flight, check-in will only be available for the first leg of the route.
For your convenience you can:
- Use the online check-in service in stages for each flight (in accordance with the start and end period of online check-in for a given flight)
- Use the online check-in service at the same time for all flights in the route (during the period coinciding with the period of online check-in for both flights in the route)
Mobile boarding pass
On flights departing from:
– Sheremetyevo Airport (Moscow), domestic and international destinations;
– Pashkovsky Airport (Krasnodar), domestic routes;
– other airports, we recommend checking the possibility at the departure airport help desk;
When passing through pre-flight inspection, at passport control, at the boarding gate and on board the aircraft, it is enough to present your boarding pass on the screen of your portable device.
For this you should:
- Save your boarding pass in your device's memory in case you don't have Internet access
- Make sure your electronic device has sufficient battery power
Additional Information
- On flights operated under a code-share agreement with Pegas Fly, online check-in is not available.
- Upon arrival at the airport, the passenger is required to present all baggage, hand luggage and personal items to the check-in counter for weighing and check-in.
- Online check-in for fares: “Light Economy”, “Optimum Economy”, as well as for passengers of charter flights, is available upon ordering the “Seat selection” service. If you do not need the online check-in service, you can use the standard check-in procedure at departure airports.
- You can familiarize yourself with the rules for carrying checked and excess baggage.
- Even when completing online check-in, remember the time required to complete all mandatory pre-flight procedures (security control, and for international transport, customs formalities). It is recommended to arrive at the airport early!
- If, after completing the online check-in procedure, you need to change or return your air ticket, you must cancel the check-in by contacting the airline's contact center no later than 40 minutes before the flight departure.
- For flight safety reasons, the airline reserves the right to change the seat you have chosen on board the aircraft at the direction of the aircraft commander.
- For passengers with Hahn Air (H1) tickets, online check-in is not available.
- On some foreign destinations, after completing online check-in, the passenger will be notified of the need to go to the check-in counter at the airport to receive a boarding pass of the standard form established by the airport.
- Check-in for a flight using self-check-in kiosks located at airports is available to passengers who have previously purchased the “Seat Selection” service.

Instructions for electronic check-in for flights
To quickly check-in for a NordWinda flight online using your ticket number, simply use our detailed instructions. Prepare a receipt sent to your email after booking your ticket.
Go to the official website of Nordwind Airlines at http://nordwindairlines.ru/ru. In the menu on the left, click on the “Online registration” tab.
In the window that opens on the right, enter:
- Departure airport;
- The passenger's last name as it is printed on the ticket;
- Flight number (consists of letters and numbers);
- Airplane departure date in the format DD.MM.YYYY, or use the electronic calendar;
- Type of documents (ticket);
- Ticket number (reservation number), consisting of numbers.
After filling out all the points and clicking the “Register” button, the program will find your ticket in the database and approve the registration.
If there is a special icon next to your flight, indicating that the service is already available, you can continue the procedure. Choose:
- A passenger from the list of available persons;
- Space in the cabin.
Click the "Register" button again.
After completing the procedure, you need to print your boarding pass - you will need it when checking in at the airport. To do this, you need to click on the “Boarding Pass” button - the printing function will be available only if you have completed the registration procedure correctly.
Nordwind online registration rules
On the official website of Nord Wind you can find out not only the flight schedule, but also the rules for online check-in. To avoid problems, you should familiarize yourself with them in advance:
- Only passengers who have an electronic ticket can check in online.
- You can check in through the online service only during a limited period of time: it begins one day and ends four hours before departure.
- If you plan to take pets on board a Nord aircraft, or you need additional services (accompanying disabled people or children), you will have to use the traditional registration procedure.
- If you have luggage with you, you will still have to go to the check-in counter before the flight.
Despite saving time on registration, before the flight you should not forget about the need for other mandatory procedures, such as security control and customs checks when flying abroad. Therefore, North Wind Airlines recommends arriving at the airport 30-40 minutes before departure.
