Find out where you can cheaply relax at sea in the summer of 2019 abroad and in Russia! We have chosen the most popular destinations for relaxing by the sea and calculated for each cost index. It will help you understand where to rest is cheap and where is expensive. Compare indexes, choose a resort and fly on a vacation on a budget.

How do we calculate the index?

We calculate two indexes of the cost of rest: for vacationers on a tour and for independent tourists.

Tour rest index. For each destination we find the cheapest tours for two for 10 days. To the cost of the tour per person, we add the cost of a visa (if necessary). The result is divided by 10. We get the cost of rest per day per person.

Independent travel index. We sum up the main expenses of the tourist and divide by 10:

  • Air tickets. We are looking for the cheapest round-trip flight from Moscow. Tickets can be without luggage and with transfers.
  • Housing. We find double rooms at the lowest price, we do not consider hostels. Calculation per person for 10 days.
  • Visa (if needed).

What do we not consider? Meals, transportation, excursions, etc. - these expenses are individual, they are difficult to calculate. Our index does not reflect all the costs of a trip, but allows you to compare the cost of a holiday by base points.

Why are tickets and tours only from Moscow considered? Firstly, most tourists fly from the capital on vacation. Secondly, the cheapest tickets and tours are usually from Moscow. If we count the indexes for departures from all cities of Russia, the review will surpass "War and Peace" in terms of volume.

And even cheaper? Can! In some cases, your vacation will cost even less than according to our calculations. You will save if:

  • find a cheap one or ;
  • you already have and you are going to Europe;
  • fly for a holiday in the low season.

Prices have been updated for the summer season 2019 and are indicated in Russian rubles. Indices for European countries are duplicated in euros, for Asia - in US dollars.

Exchange rate: 1 US dollar ≈ 65 RUB.

Many countries in Europe, Asia and America can offer you a cheap vacation at sea: the prices for food, hotels and entertainment, even at the current ruble and dollar exchange rate, remain acceptable there. But the flight to many places will cost a huge amount. Therefore, today we offer you 5 countries, where you can relax at sea abroad inexpensively, even taking into account the price of air tickets.

The Internet is now replete with articles from the category "Where to relax at sea abroad inexpensively." But many authors, describing the cheapness of recreation in these places, miss the most important point. Choosing the cheapest countries for tourists, the compilers of the ratings cite ridiculous prices for food and hotels as an example, but forget about the cost of the flight. And as a result, the lists of countries where it is cheaper to relax at sea abroad are headed either by Argentina or Guatemala. No doubt, these are really very inexpensive countries for sea holidays, but not for Russians. Because before you chic in Guatemala for $ 10 a day, you first need to get to it.

Therefore, in our article about countries where it is inexpensive to relax at sea abroad even with the current ruble exchange rate, we will take into account three main points:

  • flight cost,
  • food expenses,
  • hotel price.

This is a mandatory cost for all tourists. Everything else (excursions, entertainment, transportation costs, souvenirs, etc.) is very individual, so we will not take these costs into account. Considering how wide our native country is, we will quote prices for air tickets from three cities at once - the capital, the Northern capital and the capital of Siberia. So, where to relax at sea abroad inexpensively: the cheapest countries for tourism in Europe and Asia.

Türkiye: All Inclusive and Nothing Off

One of the goals of our site is to dispel misconceptions. One of the misconceptions of Russian tourists is that Turkey was “closed” and now it is allegedly “opened”. Dear friends! Nothing like that: Turkey has always been open, visa-free and one of the cheapest countries where you can relax at sea abroad inexpensively. It was only forbidden to sell package tours there. More details in our articles:

No one forbade and does not forbid you to buy air tickets and fly on your own to rest in this country of beautiful beaches, majestic mountains and generous all-inclusive. Moreover, from many cities in Russia you can fly to the resorts of Turkey both directly and with a transfer in Moscow or Istanbul. And you can book a hotel with all-inclusive meals through the reservation system.

Airfare to Turkey: from $80

  • Air ticket Moscow - Antalya: from 80 dollars
  • Air ticket St. Petersburg - Antalya: from 150 dollars
  • Air ticket Novosibirsk - Antalya: from 200 dollars
  • Air ticket Moscow - Alania: from 80 dollars
  • Air ticket St. Petersburg - Alanya: from $135
  • Air ticket Novosibirsk - Alania: from 200 dollars

Tips for finding flights to Turkey: if tickets from your city to Antalya or Alanya are too expensive, try to search cheap flights to istanbul. And from there there are many inexpensive ways to get to the resorts of the Turkish Mediterranean - both by air and by land.

Prices for all-inclusive hotels in Turkey: from $45

We will not calculate food prices in Turkey - why, if you can stay in a decent hotel and eat and drink on an all-inclusive basis? What's more, it's quite inexpensive! When you view hotels, do not forget to check the box "All inclusive":

Tip for booking all inclusive hotels in Turkey: on the most popular booking system Booking.com All-inclusive hotels are sometimes too expensive. The same hotels with the same "all-inclusive" can be found on other booking systems at times cheaper. Therefore, we advise you to look for hotels not through Booking, but through hotel search engine Hotellook- it compares prices for the same hotels in different booking systems and gives you the best options for the price. In addition, Hotellook, unlike Booking, gives you the opportunity to sort all-inclusive hotels. When you select a hotel, Hotellook will take you to the booking engine website (Booking.com, Agoda.com, Ostrovok.ru, etc.) where the booking takes place.

Total: a week of rest in Turkey costs from $635 for two

Airfare to Alanya and back: from $320
Hotel accommodation 7 days on "all inclusive": from $ 315

Where to relax on the sea abroad inexpensively: Turkey has always been and will be a warm, hospitable country. And after the ban on the sale of package tours, tourists have the opportunity to see the local color and beautiful nature behind the endless "all inclusive".

Thailand: affordable exotic

Of those countries where you can inexpensively relax on the sea in summer and winter, Thailand is the most exotic. And at the same time, it is very accessible and familiar: none of the countries of Southeast Asia is traveled by tourists like Thailand; none of the Southeast Asian countries has as many flights from Russia as to Thailand, and none of the neighboring countries has such a variety of information on the Internet. Including on our website. For example, here are some of our articles that will help you spend your holidays in Thailand brightly and at the same time inexpensively:

Vietnam: how much is beer under communism?

Together with Thailand Vietnam is one of the countries where a cheap seaside vacation is possible at any time of the year. For many, Vietnam as a holiday destination is even more comfortable than Thailand. One of the reasons - the local cuisine is much more familiar to the European stomach - years of communication with the French and Russians affected. Moreover, communication is so close that the main resorts of Vietnam today are completely Russified: you won’t walk a hundred meters along Nha Trang or Mui Ne so as not to meet the obligatory Matryoshka cafe or at least the USSR store. And the prices for many products here are even lower than in Thailand. For example, beer or bread costs half a dollar, wine - $5. More details in our articles:

  • Where can you relax in the summer on the sea inexpensively, except for Turkey and Bulgaria? As always, in Vietnam! In June, July and August the weather here is hot, dry and windless.
    Photo: InterContinental Nha Trang.

Dear readers, where can you advise inexpensively on the seaside abroad? You can leave feedback, or you can send us whole stories with photos on info@site We will publish them for sure! And do not forget - we send only the most necessary and useful. Happy and budget travel!

In a crisis, many people think about where they can fly on vacation so that it doesn’t turn out too hard for the wallet. Of course, you can go to the Crimea, but not everyone will agree to such a vacation. And the prices for air tickets there, to put it mildly, are not encouraging. Well, how can a flight to our "Russian" Crimea cost more than to Prague? Although, in fairness, it is worth noting that in June there are, but for other summer months the prices are already - from 10 thousand rubles one way.

We thought about where you can spend a couple of weeks on a budget and interestingly this summer. Of course, in Asia everything is just as good, tasty and even at the current dollar exchange rate. Summer is the peak season in and on some islands. But the cost of air travel there can be justified only for a long stay, at least a month. If the vacation allows you to relax for only a week or two, then we advise you to take a closer look at the following cheap flights from Moscow and visa-free countries.

The fact that Türkiye is now closed to Russian tourists is not true. A huge number of regular flights flies to Turkey every day, including our native Aeroflot. And which city to fly to is already a personal choice for everyone. You can go to Antalya, on the Mediterranean coast, by choosing an all inclusive hotel (about our trips to the coast of Turkey with a child). By the way, hotels in Turkey are now going through hard times, so you can often find discounts up to 50%. And the price of a round-trip ticket from Moscow to Antalya is only from 13.5 thousand rubles from a person. Prices are given for June 2016, but for the rest of the summer months their prices do not differ much.

There are unique sights in Cyprus: the baths of Aphrodite, Kolossi Castle, the ancient city of Amathus and much more: you won’t be bored.

Aphrodite bay

Montenegro

Montenegro is another wonderful country on the Adriatic Sea. Here, as in Cyprus, beach and cultural holidays are successfully combined. Montenegro will be appreciated by lovers of a quiet and cozy family vacation. By the way, some tourists compare Montenegro with our Crimea, not only with nature, but also with far from the best living conditions in hotels. While we have not been to Montenegro, but such a comparison does not scare us very much. And it would be interesting to see the beauties of Montenegro, for example, the old town of Budva.

Airfare from Moscow to Montenegro in June - from 15 thousand rubles per person in both directions (to Podgorica and Tivat airports).

Serbia

Beach lovers will be upset - there is no sea here. However, visa-free Serbia is famous for its mineral resorts, and has recently become popular among tourists for “healing” tours. And lovers of cultural enlightenment should appreciate the ancient castles and fortresses. Serbia is also famous for its low prices and delicious food.

Air tickets to Serbia from Moscow and back will cost only from 13.5 thousand rubles per person (flights to Belgrade).

Israel

In Israel, a very diverse holiday. Every year, millions of tourists come here to improve their health at the Dead Sea resorts. And of course, anyone will not miss the opportunity to visit the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.

In addition to its historical significance, Israel today is a modern and technological country. Here you can admire modern skyscrapers all year round, such as the Azrieli Center in Tel Aviv, and even swim in the Mediterranean Sea in summer. And many of our compatriots are attracted by the almost complete absence of a language barrier - after all, in Israel a quarter of the population speaks Russian!

Perhaps the only significant disadvantage of visiting Israel can be its high cost: you cannot call this country cheap, even without a visa. For example, the average check for two in an ordinary local cafe will be from 2000 rubles (without drinks). In the same Thailand or Vietnam, the same can cost just 300−400 rubles. A ride on the city tram will cost you 110 rubles per person.

Azrieli Towers in Tel Aviv

But nevertheless, Israel is a country with a rich history and excellent climatic conditions, so a trip there is definitely worth it. Moreover, the cost of air tickets is quite low. In June, a ticket from Moscow to Tel Aviv and back will cost only from 13 thousand rubles.

Belarus

It is not yet a very popular holiday destination for Russians. Perhaps this is due to the absence of the sea. Nevertheless, there is something to see in Belarus: what is the famous, sung in song Belovezhskaya Pushcha or Bestskaya Fortress.

Flights to Minsk and back from Moscow in June will cost us only from 10.5 thousand rubles from a person.

Georgia

Old Tbilisi, Georgia

Many Russian tourists come to Georgia by car. This trip takes approximately 2 days. If you are going to fly from Moscow to Tbilisi (and back) by plane, then such a trip will work out for you from 12 thousand rubles from a person.

You can also use a little trick: buy air tickets from Moscow to Vladikavkaz (their cost will be about 7 thousand rubles in both directions per person), and then get to Tbilisi by regular bus (travel time - about 5 hours).
