And what a name - sonorous, speaking! Being part of the resort area of Greater Gelendzhik, the village is no less in demand from year to year, both among Russians and guests from abroad. A favorable climate with mild air (pine thickets stretch along the entire edge of the coast), warm sea waters, and a well-developed tourist infrastructure provide such attractiveness.
Residents of megacities especially love Divnomorskoye: no industry, houses are buried in lush gardens, vineyards stretch over large areas, a wide choice not only in the private hotel fund, but also among recreation complexes, including student ones. The old name of the village - False Gelendzhik - does not carry a negative meaning, just a hundred years ago, navigators, when approaching the coast, mistook the lights of the bay for Gelendzhik Bay. But both guides and local residents will be happy to tell you the history of the Russian-Turkish battles in these waters, when it was the Divnomorsky water area that diverted the enemy’s fire and thereby contributed to the victory. The most interesting thing is that everyone is happy with Divnomorsk: moms and dads with kids, young people who dream of “breaking away” on vacation, elderly spouses looking for an environmentally friendly place in nature and everyday amenities. Nobody interferes with anyone, the sea and the beach are enough for everyone. By the way, the beaches here are pebbly and it is believed that the water near the coast is the cleanest compared to other coastal resorts. Many parents prefer pebbles so as not to shake out the ubiquitous sand from the sandals and panties of the kids after each visit to the sea. An advantageous natural difference of the village is the mountainous environment, thanks to which the valley is much warmer and the weather is more even in comparison with the settlements located in the district. The issue of temporary residence is resolved in the village without any problems: family tourists are offered hotels, rented apartments, and youth camps are available. When choosing a hotel, parents with children should take into account the location of nightclubs and cafes, because in summer the music sounds there until the morning. In addition to the natural advantages in the vicinity of the village, there is something to see, created by the hands of people. For example, the oldest structures are dolmens, as well as burial mounds. How to get there
The village of Divnomorskoye is located along the Inogua River, which is filled with water by the mountain tributaries of the Mezyb and Aderba. The coast is washed by open water, i.e. the coastline is flat without sharp changes. The federal highway M4 "Don" and that is removed from the village, thereby not having any negative impact on the local environment. Although such remoteness in a certain way affects the convenience of the transfer.
The only large settlement is the city of Gelendzhik, which is about 12 km away. The majority of tourists go through it. There is a regular bus between Gelendzhik and Divnomorsky. Also, during the holiday season from May to October, regular routes are organized from Krasnodar. The nearest railway station in Novorossiysk is about 45 km away, and the airport in Gelendzhik is about 15 km away. If you drive a private car, you can move through Rostov-on-Don and Novorossiysk or Krasnodar and Arkhipo-Osipovka.

Previously, it was the Adyghe village of Mezyb, which bore the name of one of the tributaries of the Inogua River, then a military fortification of Russian troops with a settlement of military personnel. The current name was given in the spirit of the Soviet era. In those days, they did not think much about etymology. After all, here is really a wonderful marvelous sea.
Coming to rest in Divnomorskoye, you can count on a fairly high level of service. The tourism business is the only way to earn money in the village, and competition ensures quality. Rest in Divnomorsk is, first of all, a beach holiday. There are no special attractions in the village, which are called must see. The only exception is the Dzhankhotsky forest of relic Pitsunda pine, which stretches from the village along the coastline for several kilometers. They say that it is these pine trees that give the local air special healing properties. There is a temple in the village in the name of Sergei Radonezh, but this is a remake that has appeared here in our time. Perhaps this is due to the fact that one of the residences of the Russian Patriarch is located in Divnomorsk, although its territory is closed to ordinary citizens. If you want to see something else, you will need to drive along the coast towards Gelendzhik or Dzhubga, since local travel agencies offer a wide range of such trips.

The beaches of Divnomorsk covered the entire coastline of the village. The most popular is the Central Beach, which runs from the confluence of the Inogua River and up the coast for 700m. The beach is about 30m wide, and fully landscaped, while the entrance is absolutely free. Also well equipped are the so-called sanatorium beaches, which even have full-time medical workers. In principle, the entrance there is free, but you should not claim sunbeds by the sea, they are for your own. There are also many wild beaches in the village. Particularly popular is the nudist beach, located in the direction of Gelendzhik. On the other hand (in the direction of the village of Dzhankhot) there are also many unequipped, but quite good places for recreation on the shore.
And this year we rested in Divnomorskoye. I didn’t particularly want to go to noisy Gelendzhik. We are very satisfied with the rest, and especially the beaches of Divnomorskoe. We rested in Gelendzhik for several years, decided to try at least something new, and now we finally found a place where it’s really clean and comfortable on the sea. In all other major resorts, it is a real pain when you arrive and do not see a normal place where you can lie down under the sun. And Divnomorskoe in terms of beaches and in terms of infrastructure is quite a good village.
A big plus is that in Divnomorskoye there is complete freedom in terms of a beach holiday. Nowhere, in any corner of this village, we did not see a paid beach, or simply at least closed to such an extent that they were not allowed to go there at all. All roads are open to tourists, without exception, to all the beaches of Divnomorskoye. They say that they seemed to want to close some kind of sanatorium, but they staged such a strike that they opened everything back in an instant.
But these are all the stories of vacationers who have been hanging out there for years. But I will tell you what we saw with our own eyes. I won’t lie about the purity of sea water, not everywhere is perfect. This is especially evident on the central beach of Divnomorskoye. So basically it's there. Most of the beaches in Divnomorskoye really have such clear water, which we personally have not seen in Gelendzhik even once in several years of rest.
But the turbidity of the water on the central beach can be understood, because in the summer there are so many people resting there! Local people also come, who apparently know where to go to the beach in the summer to relax. Therefore, especially on weekends, there is absolutely nothing to do on the central beach of Divnomorskoye. It is not so much dirty as it simply rises from the bottom due to the mega-flopping of such a huge number of people. If you really want to swim in the center of the village, you can go at least to the boat station. It is much quieter and more comfortable there, and the water is closer to clean. But there you have to look both ways when you enter the water, because the stones come across large. I never swam there, I just got my feet wet a couple of times. And so there all the amenities are paid. The beach itself is free, but entertainment and sun loungers are paid, which is natural.
You can go to the kraynyak on Torch. This is also Divnomorskoye beach, only it is more convenient for those who settled on the outskirts. But those who want to have a good rest on the beach will overcome not such a long distance to the outskirts of Divnomorskoye. It also has all the amenities, all the infrastructure, entertainment, nearby cafes, etc.
You can safely go to the beaches of resorts. It is crowded there, but some kind of situation is different than on the central beach. More civilized or something. It's just that order reigns there, there are amenities, although they are intended only for those who rest in these sanatoriums. Therefore, you should not rely on them especially. If only to somehow smear and disguise yourself as a local at a not very popular time for a beach holiday. They have first-aid posts and a lifeguard.
On the beaches of Divnomorskoye, which belong to sanatoriums, we did not particularly rest. We were frequent guests of the wild beaches of Divnomorskoe. This is where the real rest is, and not where there are a lot of people. The water is clean, the sea is perfectly clear, the bottom is beautiful, rich flora and fauna, diving with a mask is the most it! When they write about the clean beaches of Divnomorskoye, they most likely mean these very ones. There are several of them. Available in Laguna. There is a stunning Pitsunda forest above you, what aromas, what beauty reigns around! Just beyond words!
Separately, I will single out the nudist beach of Divnomorskoye. Because the place is not for everyone. No, anyone can go there, but it is mandatory to take off your clothes there. Even at the entrance, a stone tablet sticks out of the rock with the inscription Leave your clothes on everyone who enters here. My husband and I have been wanting to try it for a long time, but never got around to it. Mostly were in Laguna.

Outside the window is winter, and I want to return to summer more and more! I don’t know how it is in your city, but in Chelyabinsk it’s gray, dirty and dull 70% of the time. Therefore, I want to remember how good it was by the sea, and at the same time tell how it all went.
We did not choose Divnomorskoye purposefully as the place where we want to spend our summer vacation. It so happened that the husband went there on a business trip for 2 months. It was decided to join him for one month, that's all. Therefore, I cannot give arguments why it is here. It happened that way
We traveled with 2 children, the oldest was 5 years old, the youngest at that time was 11 months old.
We flew with the girls on a direct flight to Anapa, and there my husband met us and took us to the village. Divnomorskoe.
Divnomorskoye is a small resort village, about 10 km. from the city of Gelendzhik. You can get there by bus from the city itself, just to spend time on the beach, for example.
If you decide to go purposefully to this village, then I will try to talk about the main points that are of interest to tourists.
Where to live? What is the price?
We are comfortable living in a rented apartment. We choose an apartment so that there are such amenities as a washing machine (because there are two children), a kitchen with utensils, a TV (watch a cartoon), and other amenities. Again, we are much more comfortable with two children. They are left to their own devices, and there are not a crazy number of vacationers around who can PARTY like it's the last time.
Renting an apartment during the season costs from 2000 to 3500. A two-room, spacious apartment cost us 2000 rubles for the first week, and then friends came to us and the owner of the apartment increased the cost by only 500 rubles. Very cheap!
If you do not book accommodation in advance, then finding it on the spot is not difficult. Realtors at every turn.
Again, if you looked at housing, but you didn’t like it, you can agree on the spot to reduce the price. Again, acquaintances came to us from Krasnodar for the weekend. They rented rooms in a tourist cottage, for 3000 instead of 3500, they got a discount without any problems.
In the village itself, I counted 4 boarding houses, with a very good well-groomed territory, on the seashore. You can stay in them. The territory has everything you need. Pharmacy, with normal prices, as everywhere in Russia. Canteens, cafes, swimming pool. Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos, because I always had at least 1 child hanging on me. Take my word for it. It will cost the same, from 2500 to 3500.
Living in the village is comfortable in terms of infrastructure. Everything is there. The most popular bank is Sberbank.
Lots of mini markets. We buy fruit there and everything. By the way, the prices are not the lowest. We sell everything the same and at the same price. As a rule, we bought everything we needed in Magnit, there are already 2 of them.
We drank exclusively bottled water, but there is an opportunity to get water very cheaply in such a booth.
Basically everything you need is within walking distance. If you suddenly need something that you can’t find, again, Gelendzhik is nearby, you can go.
How to have fun yourself, what to do with children?
Everything is standard here.
Cafes, restaurants, bars at every step. Especially a lot of them closer to the waterfront.
Lots of suggestions for tours. We were in a car and drove everywhere by ourselves. But even without a car, everything is easy! If you want, then go to any kiosk and choose.
Jeeps are also on duty, prices are the same everywhere.
Lots of stuff for kids too. The cafe has a children's menu, a bunch of all sorts of nets, circles and other children's joys are sold on the beach. The prices are great! We really bought everything in advance, but we are by car, and if without it, then it makes no sense to carry the same circles and life jackets for children with us. Large circle 300-700 rubles, life jacket 250-500 rubles.
All this is sold in large quantities on the central approach to the sea. There are all the souvenirs, if anyone needs it.
There is also entertainment, a la trampolines. We did not go to such entertainment. Just because it was dirty. Those who sell this service somehow do not care about cleanliness. Children in the sand after the sea, the trampoline itself in the puddles after the rain, they jump in all this, exchange infections ... In general, this is not for me. Well, the prices are high. Jumping in the mud costs 200-250 rubles for 5 minutes. If you definitely want to, then it's better in an amusement park in Gelendzhik.

The embankment is wide, clean, comfortable. I am always with a heavy stroller, in which, in addition to the child, there is everything, towels, clothes, water, food .... Rest with children is like that .. And I had no problems.
There are several rescue towers on the embankment, which is important. And a lot of toilets. All paid, for 20 rubles.
The beach is pebbly, I really liked it. There is an opportunity to just lie on the pebbles, you can go to a paid beach and buy a sunbed for the whole day for 150-200 rubles.

While we lived there, there was a whole week of showers, the sea was stormy just unrealistic! The waves were high. People still swam, of course, but the rescuers from the towers constantly swore at them, appealed to their minds.
After a storm, the beach was always littered with branches, and everything that would come from the sea. During the day, everything was in order. So it's pretty clean. In the same Gelendzhik, I didn’t like the sea from the word at all.
If you get tired of the local beach, you can always go to the wild one. There are many, but I don't think it's worth it. No one follows these people, and people throw garbage, which is not pleasant ... For example, I don’t advise you to go to Sosnovka at all. It's beautiful, but the beach itself is dirty.
If you still decide to explore the coast next to. Divnomorskoye, it is better to go to Praskoveevka. There is a paid beach, and very well maintained. There is also a rock Sail, a local landmark. You can ride a banana to it for 400 rubles.
I would like to write separately about the streets of the village themselves. With a baby in a stroller, it can be difficult, so take not a flimsy little walk on tiny wheels, but rather something in between, between large and small.
If you decide to take a walk, you can just run into the stairs somewhere uphill. We were looking for a pediatrician's office. And in general, rarely where there is a ramp, or a convenient exit. So it's annoying at first. Then you get used to it and you already know where you can go, where you shouldn’t.
about medical services. They are on a normal level. There is an emergency room at two locations. So if someone gets sick, contact without problems. The main thing to have with you: passport, birth certificate, policy.
We contacted 2 times. Both times they called an ambulance, which travels from Gelendzhik. So if the team does not work somewhere nearby in the village, you will have to wait 40 minutes. A small child will definitely be taken to the hospital in Gelendzhik, for examination and tests if necessary, and if necessary, hospitalization. After you will be asked to appear already in place in the village. My children were sick in turn for about a day each. Regarding the condition of a small child, they called me the next day after the appeal, inquired about her condition, which surprised me greatly.

Divnomorskoye was created for a lazy beach holiday, ideal with children! You can safely walk, swim, and relax. There is no crazy fun here. There are a lot of families around. In the evenings on the embankment, of course, it is noisy, and you can dance in the bar (right up to 2 am!), But this is where the party ends. You can walk with the children even until the morning (under the supervision of the police, by the way), and it will be nice, quiet, good.
Although I rate the place at 5, I still do not want to return. After spending 3 weeks there, I "ate" enough of them, but it was definitely worth it to visit there.
