Victory new directions. Press releases from Pobeda Airlines

Low-cost carrier Pobeda (part of the Aeroflot group) is considering the possibility of opening flights from Moscow to Pisa, a source in the Aeroflot group told Gazeta.Ru. According to him, the company has already submitted a corresponding application, which will be considered at the next Interdepartmental Commission. The interlocutor added that the airline requested a frequency of flights to Pisa of 7 times a week.
A Pobeda representative declined to comment on this information, emphasizing that the airline is considering various directions for developing its route network.

The Russian low-cost airline is already flying from Moscow to Italian Bergamo (located next to Milan). According to a representative of the air carrier, this city is one of the most popular international destinations of Pobeda, with an average load of each flight of 80%.

Pobeda can also open several international destinations from Russian regions. As stated in the documents on the website (Rosaviation), Pobeda submitted an application to operate flights to Tbilisi from Rostov-on-Don three times a week.

In addition, Pobeda has already received permission to fly from Rostov-on-Don to Baku (Azerbaijan) and Yerevan (Armenia).

The airline plans to fly these routes four and three times a week, respectively.

The airline has already received permission to fly routes from this Russian city to Tbilisi, Yerevan and Baku, according to documents on the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation). The frequency of flights to Tbilisi and Baku will be three times a week, to Yerevan - four times a week.

“The growth of passenger traffic to Georgia and Armenia began about two years ago, and since then the popularity has not subsided. Even now, many fly from Moscow to Vladikavkaz, transfer to a minibus and reach Georgia in a few hours. The popularity of these countries is high, if Pobeda provides inexpensive fares, I think that passenger traffic from Moscow will be large,” says Janis, a representative of the online search engine Aviasales. According to the executive director of the Aviaport agency, theoretically, a flight from Moscow to Tbilisi, Baku or Yerevan with a transfer in Rostov-on-Don will be of interest to Muscovites, subject to an attractive price offer.

According to Rosstat, in the first quarter of this year, 106 thousand tourists from Russia visited Georgia, which is 27.7% more than in the same period last year. Over the same period, the same 106 thousand tourists (+2%) arrived in Azerbaijan. During the first quarter, 54 thousand people from Russia visited Armenia.

In addition, Pobeda wants to open flights to Goa, India.

Thus, judging by the data on the website of the Federal Air Transport Agency, the airline applied to the agency with a request to reduce the frequency of flights of Rossiya, which is also part of the Aeroflot group, to Goa. According to the bilateral air services agreement between Russia and India, the maximum number of flights is 11 times a week. Currently, it is “Russia” that has access to such a number of frequencies. At the same time, Pobeda asks the department to reduce the frequency of Rossiya flights from 11 to 9 times a week.

According to a Gazeta.Ru source close to Pobeda, the request is explained by the fact that Rossiya does not use frequencies at all, and the low-cost carrier can open regular flights there. The interlocutor clarified that flights may begin not from Moscow, but from regions, refusing to name which ones.

Technically, Pobeda's fleet, which currently consists of 12,737, will not allow the company to fly directly from Moscow to Goa.

The distance between these points is more than 5.5 thousand km. And the flight range of the Boeing 737 with maximum load is 5.4 thousand km. However, the company could open these flights from the regions, for example from Rostov-on-Don or Astrakhan. Thus, the distance between Rostov-on-Don and Goa is about 4.8 thousand km, and from Astrakhan to this Indian state - 4.2 thousand km.

As calculated for Gazeta.Ru in the online search engine Aviasales, the cheapest charter from Moscow to Goa, of those available on the website, costs 26 thousand rubles.

“This is a non-stop flight there and back with luggage,” said search engine representative Janis Dzenis. He added that the minimum cost of a Pobeda flight from Moscow to Astrakhan and back is already 4.07 thousand rubles, if you add baggage to this - 5.99 thousand rubles. for 4 flight segments, seat selection - 596 rubles. for 4 segments, 2% transaction fee.

“Considering that, in the absence of sales, the cheapest round-trip Pobeda ticket to Milan now costs at least 11 thousand rubles, and it’s hard to believe that it’s much further to fly to Goa even from Astrakhan, it’s hard to believe that this whole structure is attractive to the mass traveler ", complained Dzenis.

Now Pobeda flies to eight international destinations and only from Moscow. Previously, the company has repeatedly stated that it is ready to open flights abroad from Russian regions. However, last year the head noted that Pobeda should develop domestic destinations, and the total volume of international flights will be no more than 10-15% of the total number of flights.

Pobeda Airlines is the main Russian low-cost airline that offers minimal prices for air tickets, which are often cheaper than a taxi ride to the airport.
With Pobeda Airlines you can buy a ticket for only 999 rubles. Low prices and popular destinations make them the most popular and sought-after air carrier.
Reviews about Pobeda airline in 2016 are different. Many negative reviews are written due to a lack of information before the flight. We collected and analyzed passenger reviews, rules and nuances to understand whether it is worth buying tickets from the Pobeda company?

Pobeda Airlines – basic information

The low-cost airline Pobeda appeared in September 2014 as a subsidiary of Aeroflot.

Airplanes "Victory"

A huge advantage for passengers is the Pobeda fleet, which consists entirely of new Boeing 737-800s, which makes any air flight from Pobeda Airlines safe and comfortable,
despite the low ticket price. In total, Pobeda Airlines purchased 13 Boeings; by 2018 there will be 40.

In 2016 reviews, passengers of Pobeda Airlines often praise the carrier for its new and clean aircraft.

The main hub (base) of Pobeda Airlines is located at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow.
Summer hubs are Anapa (Vityazevo) or Sochi airport.
During the winter, Pobeda Airlines is based in Mineralnye Vody.

Pobeda Airlines operates daily and regular flights to 40 Russian cities, as well as to Europe in 8 destinations.

Special offers from all Airlines

In fact, the Pobeda airline took the place of the disbanded Dobrolet airline, which was closed due to sanctions. For the same reason, Pobeda Airlines
does not operate flights to Simferopol airport, Crimea.

Low-cost air travel is popular all over the world, especially in Europe. In Russia, tickets for flights with Pobeda Airlines are in high demand,
Passenger reviews of the Pobeda airline are contradictory; we will return in more detail to the reviews of Pobel a little lower in the review.

Pobeda is part of the Aeroflot group and the main mission of the company is to provide cheap and safe transportation of passengers within the country from various regions of Russia.
The airline also plans to become one of the five largest air carriers in Russia by 2018, and transport 5 million passengers per year.

Pobeda Airlines flights

Where can you fly with Pobeda and from which cities are there flights?

Since the main base is in Moscow, most of Pobeda's flights depart from there.

From Moscow and back, Pobeda operates flights to Sochi, Astrakhan, Gelendzhik, Makhachkala, Yekaterinburg, Nizhnevartovsk, Arkhangelsk, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Belgorod, Perm, Surgut, Tyumen, Ufa, Anapa.
From many of the cities listed you can fly to the resorts of the Krasnodar region - Sochi and Anapa.

Pobeda Airlines operates international flights from Moscow to Vienna, Milan, Barcelona, Cologne, Bonn, Larnaca, and Bratislava.

The main priorities are low ticket prices and safety, which the airline does easily. Low ticket prices from Pobeda are achieved by reducing all services to a minimum,
and safety – by strict compliance with all rules of passenger transportation.

When buying tickets from Pobeda Airlines, people often don’t think about the fact that a cheap ticket means certain restrictions and additional fees for comfort and other services.
They rarely read the rules, so very often conflicts break out among Pobeda airline passengers and company employees, which turn into negative reviews about Pobeda.

Positive feedback from passengers about Pobeda Airlines

Positive reviews about Pobeda mainly consist of stories about cheap tickets that helped the passenger save a significant amount of money; in reviews, people also praise the clean and comfortable planes, and the company’s sympathetic staff.

True, the bulk of positive reviews about Pobeda Airlines come from passengers on international flights. Such as Moscow-Cologne or Moscow-Vienna-Moscow.
Either the flight attendants on these flights are really nicer and more polite than those who work on domestic flights, or it’s just a coincidence. Moreover, in 90 percent of cases, negative reviews about “Victory”
– these are reviews of flights in Russia.

Positive feedback from passengers about Pobeda Airlines

1. Low ticket prices, from 999 rubles.

2. New, clean and safe planes. Comfortable chairs.

3. Possibility to carry additional luggage for a small surcharge.

4. Friendliness and friendliness of flight attendants on international flights

5. You are allowed to use electronic gadgets on board

Negative reviews about Pobeda Airlines

Bad reviews about Pobeda Airlines are mainly related to the rules for checking in baggage, check-in for flights, and the lack of understanding and contact between passengers and company personnel.

By analyzing the negative reviews about Pobeda Airlines, you can protect yourself from a ruined trip and lost tickets:

1. Legendary women's small backpack-handbag. The bulk of negative reviews about the flight by Pobeda are associated with it.
No matter how small this backpack is, even though it only holds a passport and cigarettes, the flight attendants will not let you take it on the plane for free in most cases.
Naturally, passengers are outraged by non-compliance with FAP rules (federal air transportation rules) and the payment for such a micro-backpack of 2,000 rubles, which is sometimes more expensive than the flight itself.
The problem with a backpack and luggage in general can be solved by simply reading the rules of Pobeda Airlines on the website. More on this below.

2. Lack of any nutrition. For those who are used to flying low-cost airlines, the lack of food on board is not news. But many passengers are not aware that Pobeda Airlines does not feed passengers
and you even have to ask for water. This moment is especially annoying for travelers with children.

3. The slightest delay will result in you not being allowed on the plane. In negative reviews about Pobeda Airlines, passengers complain that the carrier deliberately does not announce boarding,
so as not to put passengers on board, since it sells more tickets than allotted for the flight. Whether this is true or not is unknown.
Any disputes with Pobeda Airlines employees rarely end in favor of the passenger. They may take away your boarding pass while waiting for payment for hand luggage or a refund.
no for a lost ticket, you can complain by phone (for a fee), there is no clear feedback from the client-carrier.

4. If you were late, you were not allowed on the flight, but you had purchased round-trip tickets, passengers often in their reviews of Pobeda Airlines say that they were turned away at the point on the return route
on departure, although the passenger arrived at the gate on time.

Pobeda Airlines baggage rules

Pobeda Airlines is a low-cost airline. Budget airlines have their own baggage rules and cheap plane tickets are achieved by refusing all services that can be subsequently
purchase for an additional fee.
Many passengers are outraged by this option, but there is nothing to be done about it. But you have a choice - fly for 1000 rubles without anything and drink some water, or pay for your comfort.

It is very important to know the rules for transporting hand luggage and baggage at Pobeda Airlines ,
otherwise, you risk not only flying away in a bad mood, but not flying away at all.

1. Be careful when purchasing a Pobeda airline ticket. By default, the company includes a 10 kg carry-on baggage allowance in the ticket.
Thus, you can overpay an extra 999 rubles for each segment of your luggage and baggage.
2. The Pobeda airline fee does not mean that you cannot take anything into the cabin without additional payment. Pobeda Airlines must comply with the rules of the FAP
(Federal Aviation Regulations) about the list of free carriage of certain items.
This list includes: a handbag, an umbrella, a telephone, a laptop, a cane, a bouquet of flowers, clothes, printed publications, a backpack, baby food for travel, a camera, a video camera, a cradle, crutches,
stretcher or wheelchair.

* It is worth adding that although FAP rules exist, there are also reviews from passengers who tried to fly with Pobeda Airlines and knew their rules and rights. In the same story with the backpack-handbag,
(there are more than a dozen of these stories), the girls either paid 2,000 rubles for transportation, or remained on the ground, since no amount of arguing, defending the straps of the handbag, its tiny dimensions, helped
convince the staff that this is a lady's bag that can be carried duty free.

So, although the FAP assumes that, according to the rules, you do not have the right to weigh a handbag and make claims regarding its dimensions (its weight and parameters are not specified anywhere), in reality
things may be completely different.

3. In the winter of 2016, new rules came into force at Pobeda Airlines regarding goods purchased at Duty Free. There is even a scandal that people flying out on Pobeda simply do not buy anything in duty-free shops. And that's why.
If, when flying with another airline, you can safely take a duty free package on board without registering, then in the case of Pobeda, you will have to pay 2,000 rubles. Carrying packages on board is strictly prohibited.
(again, read the rules). If you have something tiny, like a box of chocolates, you may be allowed to carry it in your hands for free.

Paid and free services and rules from Pobeda Airlines

Free baggage allowance at Pobeda Airlines

1. Free. One piece of luggage weighing up to 10 kg. Cannot be combined with passengers flying with you. Dimensions
up to 158 cm in three dimensions.

2. All the things listed above that are included in the FAP list.

Paid services for the transportation of baggage, hand luggage, etc. from Pobeda Airlines

1. Telephone communication with the company is paid, up to 60 rubles per minute.

2. Keep in mind that if you are going to pay for additional baggage, hand luggage, extra kg, transportation of an animal or something else, the cheapest way to do this is on the Pobeda airline website or through the call center.

Let me give you an example: 1 piece of luggage in the aircraft cabin up to 10 kg in the sum of three dimensions up to 115 cm.

On the website – 999 rubles. At check-in at the airport – 1500 rubles. Before boarding - 2000 rubles.

It’s clear now why passenger reviews are full of collusion and fraud. There is no direct fraud here, but if the passenger who bought the ticket turns out to be not too meticulous, he will have to spend a lot of money.

Prices for paid baggage transportation from Pobeda Airlines

The same. 1499 rubles when purchasing a place on the site. And already 3000 rubles at the airport. Quite significant, right?

Prices and rules for transporting special, oversized baggage of Pobeda Airlines

Conclusions and summary about Pobeda Airlines

Keep in mind that although Pobeda Airlines is considered a low-cost carrier, it is not always the one that offers the cheapest tickets to the destinations you need.

Don’t be lazy before purchasing, look at offers from 700 other airlines on the website Aviasales, and compare on the website Skaskanner.

At the same time, you will be able to use the usual services for free, such as free luggage (20-40 kg), free carry-on luggage (7-10 kg), as well as meals on board.

Conclusions about Pobeda Airlines

The main problem of people, of course, is ignorance and lack of understanding of the rules and laws of low-cost airline operation.
Of course, you shouldn’t give up on smoky air travel just because on board they gave you just a glass of water instead of a piece of chicken. Moreover, Pobeda Airlines flights last no more than 1-3 hours.

Read the carrier's rules, rules for transporting baggage, hand luggage, check-in rules, etc. This will at least help you fly away and avoid a situation in which you will have to conflict
with flight attendants.

Pay attention to those points in the reviews in which passengers criticize Pobeda Airlines and correct their mistakes. And then your trip for 999 rubles will be easy, comfortable and enjoyable.
What we wish for you with all our hearts.

Pobeda has opened ticket sales for new flights to Kaliningrad from Moscow and St. Petersburg

February 15, 2018, Moscow. – The low-cost airline Pobeda opened sales on Thursday, February 15, for flights to Kaliningrad from Moscow and St. Petersburg. On the day of the launch of sales until the end of the 2018 summer flight schedule, which will begin on March 25 and continue until October 27, the company’s official website simultaneously offered at least 2,000 tickets to both new destinations at a minimum fare of 499 rubles, including all airport taxes.

Pobeda planes will fly from Moscow to Kaliningrad daily from March 26, and from St. Petersburg daily from April 18. The airline operates only new, modern Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a 189-seat configuration, supplied directly from the manufacturer's plant.
In the summer season of 2018, Pobeda plans to serve about 80 destinations; last summer, the route network included 58 destinations. At the same time, the map of flights from Moscow will increase by 41.94% compared to 2017 – to 44 destinations. The Pobeda route network in St. Petersburg is planned to be more than doubled - from 7 to 15 destinations.

In the near future, Pobeda will announce new flight routes, which will include not only international routes, but also popular Russian destinations. Current tariffs and routes are published on the company’s official website

Pobeda Airlines, thanks to its pricing policy and unique model, has become the most popular carrier on the Russian market. The average load of Pobeda flights is 95%, and on most flights it reaches 100%, the highest figure among Russian regular airlines.
In 2017, Pobeda carried about 4.6 million passengers, including at least 350,000 tickets sold at the minimum fare of 499 rubles, including all airport taxes.

Pobeda Airlines is the only low-cost air carrier on the Russian market. In January, Pobeda was recognized by analysts of the OneTwoTrip travel service as the price leader of 2017. Pobeda has also been repeatedly named the most affordable airline in Russia by specialists from the largest metasearch engine Aviasales.

In November 2016, Pobeda entered the TOP 3 best airlines in Russia, taking third place in the ranking of one of the most popular tourism magazines in the world, National Geographic Traveler.
Previously, “Victory” was noted on the international market. The Russian low-cost carrier took first place in the world in terms of growth rates among low-cost airlines, according to the ranking of the global industry publication Airline Business. In addition, the Russian low-cost airline entered the TOP 10 best airlines in Eastern Europe in the Skytrax World Airline Awards ranking.

Pobeda Airlines is part of the Aeroflot Group, implementing the project of a classic low-cost air carrier. The company's work is aimed at increasing the mobility of the population and transport accessibility of the regions of the Russian Federation.

For Russia, Pobeda Airlines is a phenomenon. You can love them or not love them. You can tell everyone that you will never use this hellish organization again... But they changed the air transportation market in Russia. And it’s stupid to argue with this.

Yes, they were not the first. But only they were able to gain a foothold and not only continue to operate, but also actively expand, adding new flight routes.

In this article I will explain how to fly Pobeda with pleasure and not complain about anything :)

Well, in general, let's see what benefits this airline can give us.

Flights within Russia

First, let's look at their work in the domestic air transportation market.

As of August 2016, Pobeda flies direct flights to the following destinations:

From Moscow to the following cities of Russia: Anapa, Astrakhan, Belgorod, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Gelendzhik, Yekaterinburg, Kirov, Krasnodar, Makhachkala, Nazran, Nalchik, Novosibirsk, Perm, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Surgut, Tyumen , Ufa, Cheboksary, Chelyabinsk. And, accordingly, from all these cities to Moscow.

From Saint-Petersburg to Vladikavkaz, Yekaterinburg, Kirov, Krasnodar, and Makhachkala. And in the opposite direction.

And also from Yekaterinburg to Novosibirsk, Sochi and Anapa. And back:)

And also from Sochi to Chelyabinsk, Yaroslavl, Perm, Volgograd, Vladikavkaz, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Naberezhnye Chelny, Kazan, Kirov, Cheboksary, Tyumen. And vice versa.

And also from Anapa to Ufa, Ekaterinburg, Perm. And vice versa.

The list is impressive! Maybe I even missed something. And thanks to Pobeda, people actually began to fly more often. Yes, and before it was possible to get from many cities, for example, to Sochi only through Moscow, but now - directly. It's much more convenient.

And, most importantly, sometimes (unfortunately, not always) these tickets are very, very cheap. The sales of tickets for 500 rubles per ticket were especially booming.

Personally, I managed to buy round-trip tickets for 1,000 rubles to Arkhangelsk and Volgograd. I flew to Arkhangelsk, but changed my mind about Volgograd (*here is the minus of the low price - you can easily cancel the flight). And...I liked it :) Nice planes, great attitude. In short, you can fly. And even necessary.

It is important to always remember that despite the statement about the budget, the company's air travel is not always that way.
Very often, Pobeda flights turn out to be much more expensive than competitors. Sometimes Pobeda is only 1000 rubles cheaper, but at the same time it flies to an airport that is much further away than the one to which competitors fly... and in the end it turns out to be more expensive :) We will discuss this further in the article.

In the meantime, a simple rule - always double-check prices and offers for the flight you need in meta-ticket search engines:

If the offer really turned out to be the most profitable, then all that remains is to understand the company’s rules.

And here it is important to always remember that this is not just a standard airline. This is a _low-cost_ airline. Officially. And it has very specific limitations.

If you know and follow the rules of a budget airline, your flight will be easy and simple. And the rules, in fact, are incredibly simple and clear. Although the text description can take up a lot of space.

What is possible and what is not. Rules of the budget "Victory".

One of the main complaints against the airline is that it allegedly constantly introduces new rules or clarifies current ones. But it is not so. In fact, the airline’s website describes in quite detail what is possible and what is not.

Super-detailed rules are described on this page of the official Pobeda website. We are interested in what can be carried for free. And, most importantly, where - in the cabin or luggage.

The most important bonus, from my point of view, is that despite the company’s budget, everyone has the right to carry one free piece of luggage.

1. In the luggage compartment

Baggage weighing up to 10 kg is FREE.

At the same time, the dimensions of the free baggage piece should not exceed 158 centimeters in three dimensions. (When I flew in 2015, the sizes were not actually checked - now I don’t know).

First of all, I don’t know of a single budget airline in the world that includes free luggage. (maybe there is someone in Asia, but I can’t remember)
Secondly, this is an excellent limit for those who still have not realized that 10 kg is more than enough for a short 2-7 day trip to another city or another country. If you don’t think so, it means you are either very inexperienced, or you have specific needs, such as medicine, business, shopping, etc. (*And then it’s not clear why you’re even looking towards a budget company - with special requests you go to a regular expensive airline).

You really don't need so many clothes)))

2. Into the airplane cabin

Personal items according to a _specific list_ - free of charge to the salon.

Firstly, these are the clothes you are wearing. (Yes, you can put on at least 5 pairs of pants and 2 jackets - they won’t be able to refuse you. Well, you like to dress warmly, what can you do.)

At the same time, no one will check everything that is in the pockets of your clothes (because they have no right) if you have passed the security check. Even if all your clothes consist of nothing but pockets :)

Secondly, by the list:

Handbag or briefcase; folder for papers, umbrella, cane; bouquet of flowers;
outerwear, suit in a suitcase; printed publications for in-flight reading;
camera (without case), video camera (without case), laptop computer;
baby food (in a handbag or briefcase) for the duration of the flight and a cradle or stroller when transporting a child;
crutches, stretcher or wheelchair when transporting a passenger with limited mobility.

That is, there are no problems with devices - phones, cameras, laptops. It's all free and in the salon.

Once again - if the camera is in a special camera bag, you will have to pay for it! The case, if you have one, is only for luggage.

There is also a remark about what is still not allowed despite all this:

Backpacks, bags of all types and sizes, boxes, food packaged in separate containers,
Beach and sports bags are allowed for transportation in the aircraft cabin only for a fee.

That is, if you put a laptop in a bag, you will be asked to pay for it before boarding the plane.
But if you immediately take the package out of your laptop, fold the package and put it in your pocket, it will already be free.

Yes, it's stupid :) I agree. But this measure has its reasons. On the other hand, it’s not difficult for you to do this, is it? :)

Everything that is not on these lists is paid.

Yes, alcohol from duty free is also paid. If you can put it in your underpants so it doesn’t fall, then it’s probably free)))

It is even written separately on the website about duty free:

Payment for transportation of goods (luggage) purchased in Tax/Duty free stores is carried out at the boarding gate according to the tariffs published on the website of Pobeda Airlines LLC.

And that's not it :)

Regarding the list of free items in hand luggage, there is even more clarification for those in the tank:

A “handbag” is understood as a small narrow bag of a rectangular, oblong or soft shape, as well as in the shape of a crescent or semicircle (including a baguette handbag, an envelope handbag (clutch), a minaudiere handbag, a clutch handbag, a pochette handbag) , designed for carrying small household items or cosmetics. A handbag can be equipped with a shoulder strap or chain, have handles made of leather, textile, metal, plastic or bamboo, the dimensions of which do not exceed 75 cm in the sum of three dimensions.

A “briefcase” is understood as a narrow rectangular bag designed for carrying documents (papers), books, a laptop computer, as well as small items, and having corresponding compartments in the internal space. The briefcase, as a rule, is equipped with a handle on one of the end surfaces and has a strap for carrying over the shoulder, the dimensions of which do not exceed 75 cm in the sum of three dimensions. Backpacks and bags of any kind are not included in the list of items carried free of charge in the aircraft cabin.

That is, a huge bag thrown over your hand and called a handbag will not work. Alas and ah. If you want to carry a lot of things, buy extra luggage or fly with another airline. Everything is straight and honest. Why try to outwit everyone and then throw tantrums that you were allegedly deceived? Everything is written extremely clearly and clearly.

Airplane seats

Here, too, everything is very clear. You can only choose seats on the plane for money. Dot.

During the ticket booking process, a seat is assigned automatically based on the optimal arrangement of passengers in the cabin (aircraft alignment). If you want to choose the seats of your choice, you can do this during the booking process or add a seat to an already issued ticket.

Seats with increased legroom are the most comfortable. If you want to get comfortable, make a reservation.
The service is paid and, for safety reasons, is not provided to passengers under 18 years of age, pregnant women and persons with limited mobility.

Accordingly, you can also change from place to place on a plane only for money :)
You can't transfer for free. Because the choice of location is initially paid.

Why then do some people think that if they are already sitting on a plane, now suddenly choosing a seat becomes free simply because there are empty seats in the cabin? It doesn't. Even if your child was placed far from you.

If you cannot sit far from your child, you must reserve a seat for an additional fee. Everything is simple and clear. There is no need to hope for chance. (*Theoretically, at the reception you can ask to sit you together if there are empty seats next to each other and... if you are very nice, friendly and smiling :) but without guarantees, of course).

At the same time, even if you buy a seat at the emergency exit, but someone from the reservation is under 18 years old, someone is a pregnant woman, or a passenger with limited mobility, then... this person will be seated despite the payment. Rules are rules.

Ignorance is no excuse from responsibility, is it? It's a pity that we constantly forget about this.

And therefore, if you know these fairly simple rules, then you will have nothing to complain about :) There will be no reason for angry reviews and suffering. Smile and fly:) The main thing is to fit into the specified conditions and, if necessary, pay extra for the necessary services.

(!)And, by the way, it is important to know in advance - the seat backs in all Pobeda aircraft do NOT recline. They are firmly fixed. (*why this was done is a mystery)

Now that we have understood the rules, and it turned out that not everything is as complicated and confusing as it might seem at first glance, we can move on to the most interesting part :)

Foreign flights

In addition to flights within Russia, Pobeda has very interesting international destinations.

And not only because you can fly cheaper, but also because Pobeda has already had an impact on the price level. Some European companies that previously put high price tags on flights now fly for less than 10,000 rubles round trip. Not everyone had this even before the collapse of the ruble :) Recent examples include Brussels Airlines, which suddenly decided to fly to/from Moscow to Brussels for 9,000 round trip.

So where does Pobeda fly?

To Spain, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Cyprus, Montenegro.

More specifically, the list is as follows:

Barcelona (Girona), Bratislava, Vienna (*to Bratislava and then by bus to Vienna),
Cologne/Bonn, Larnaca, Milan (Bergamo), Milan Center (*to Bergamo and then bus to the center),
Munich (Memmingen), Paphos, Tivat.

And here we should immediately remember that Pobeda is a low-cost airline. This means that they are trying to save money on airports. This means you need to check which airport the airline flies to.

For example, the destination "Barcelona" has "Girona" in parentheses. This means that Pobeda does not fly to the city of Barcelona itself, but to an airport that is very relatively related to Barcelona :) It rather refers to the city of Girona. And it is located 90 kilometers from Barcelona!

On the one hand, this means that you will have to get to Barcelona by 2 buses with a transfer :) And, yes, you will also have to pay extra for this. (*Unless you are an avid hitchhiker, of course)
- But on the other hand, if you want to rent a car, then you don’t care :) And the benefit from such a flight can cover 1-2 days of renting a car.
- On the third hand, perhaps you don’t need to go to Barcelona at all;) (and there is something to do there and near Girona - believe me) Then it’s definitely all the same.

If you buy air tickets to Europe during special Pobeda sales, when they set incredibly low prices, then it is always profitable. But, at the time of publication of the article, a round-trip air ticket to Barcelona from Pobeda cost only 1,000 rubles cheaper than the same ticket from competitors with a flight to the main airport in Barcelona.
Therefore, it would be worthwhile to seriously think about your plans and goals.

The situation is the same with Munich. In fact, the plane flies to Memmingen, which is 110 km from Munich!
From Memmingen it’s time to go to Switzerland, and not to Munich :) It’s very close there.
But on the other hand, this is a bonus!
Because, as I already said, there are the same 100 km to Switzerland as to Munich. And also about 100 km to the Austrian mountains! Which are beautiful both in summer and winter. And what to do in the Austrian mountains in winter is a no brainer :) Besides, in Memmingen, of course, you can rent a car.

But if we talk about other areas, the benefits are obvious even without any sales.(*let alone talk about sales)

The most interesting foreign destinations of Pobeda are, of course, Bratislava and, already described above, Munich (Memmingen).

From Bratislava you can easily and close to Budapest, Krakow, Prague, etc. And Austrian Vienna is just an hour away :)
From Memmingen - already described above. But the disadvantage of this direction is the distance from big cities and points of attraction. And Bratislava’s airport is essentially located within the city. And Bratislava itself is considered a satellite city of Austrian Vienna)) Only 70 km.

At the time of writing (August 2016) A one-way ticket to these destinations cost only 2,886 rubles!

At the moment, these are perhaps the only truly budget foreign destinations of the budget Pobeda :)
But due to the location of Bratislava airport, in fact, it is the only truly cool and profitable destination.

And these cheap destinations are worth using!

For the same dates, for example, the cheapest ticket to Munich is offered by the S7 company - for almost 12,000 round trip and without any luggage included. “Pobeda” with their 5700 rubles and 10 kg of luggage looks like a reasonable decision :) Even taking into account transport from Memmingen to Munich itself.

But if there are no minimum prices in the Victory calendar, then... I would very, very much think about whether it is worth flying with this company with all its restrictions. To be honest, I sincerely do not understand people who buy a ticket to Victory for the same money that can be used to fly on the same S7. And airports will be better, and you can bring bags, duty-free, or backpacks into the cabin.
